Wives & Partners of Patients Supporting Patients

Home » News » Wives & Partners of Patients Supporting Patients

Prostate Buddies D & G has always tried to be inclusive of wives and partners of Prostate Cancer patients but perhaps we weren’t really fully prepared logistically, to accommodate them while we found our feet and refined our own offering of moral and emotional support to men.

We are delighted to say that, at the Dumfries Baptist Church Centre, we also run monthly meetings for wives and partners of Prostate Cancer patients, who are warmly invited to come along and share their experiences and concerns. This decision was spurred by several ladies who voiced a request for such a group as they have felt they needed support, so we are excited to meet the demand.

The ladies group meet in a separate room but on the same night and at the same time as the guys (7.00pm to 9.00pm). As always, the meetings are free to attend and tea, coffee and biscuits are provided. No need to register or book. Just come along and discover how good it is to talk.

You need to talk. We all need to talk!
