Prostate Buddies D&G could not exist without the generous donations we receive. These are still coming in, large and small, and we are extremely grateful for any and all the donations received.

Prostate Buddies D & G is manned entirely by volunteers who want to help other men come to terms with their diagnosis and to raise “Prostate Awareness” across Dumfries and Galloway.

We are fortunate to have use of the facilities at the Dumfries Baptist Church Centre, where we hold our monthly meetings – however these facilities are not free but are dependant on external funding. We are also very fortunate in that our website is sponsored by Annandale Financial Services, for which we are very grateful.

Donate

For Prostate Buddies to provide the level of on-going support we would wish for, takes money. If you would like to make a donation to the Prostate Buddies D&G Charity, you can do so to any of the members at our monthly meetings. We now have a PayPal account which you can use to make a donation, which will allow us to continue with the level of support that is required as more and more men are diagnosed with Prostate Cancer. If you can afford it, please make a donation – however small, so we can fulfil our mission statement and continue to support the recently diagnosed men of D&G and offer them the same moral and emotional support that we offer current sufferers – You can also donate securely to Prostate Buddies D&G via PayPal, by following the link below, thank you.

You can also donate to Prostate Buddies D&G through the collection boxes located across Dumfries and Galloway or hand any donation in to The Chairman, Roly Proudlock, at Annandale Financial Services, Buccleuch St Dumfries, DG1 2AA.

Thank you.

Where there’s a will, there’s a way to help life live on.

Finally, have you considered leaving a legacy in your will for a charity of your choice? Leaving a gift in your will is one of the biggest differences you can make to help people with cancer live life as fully as they can. We think of our loved ones, our community and we also think about how our impact can reach even further. By choosing to leave a gift in your will, there’s a way to leave something behind for loved ones as well as those that may need it the most.

We understand that this is a big personal decision, but by taking these small steps now, you will have a big impact for years to come.

MacMillan Cancer Support have created a handy booklet that will give you a good understanding of why you should consider leaving a gift in your will. It includes practical tools and information on how to leave a gift and information about what kinds of gift you can leave.
