Our launch night on 26th June 2019

Attended by the Advice and Information Co-ordinator for Prostate Scotland, Mae Bell, who gave a very interesting presentation about what the Prostate Scotland charity does and how their funds help them to produce the broad range information leaflets that they distribute. The launch meeting was very well attended, including a number of men who came along to meet the buddies and talk.

Our Chairman Roly, opened the meeting and welcomed all the attendees, especially the Deputy Lord Leitenant of Dumfries. He thanked the 3rd Sector for all their admin help in setting up the charity, and a huge thank you to Stella Milsom of the local MacMillan Cancer Support Group for their kind donation towards the group set up costs.

Our meetings will be held on the last Wednesday of each month at the Dumfries Baptist Church Centre from 7pm – 9pm and also, at the Creebridge House Hotel Newton Stewart on the first Tuesday of each month from 7pm – 9pm.  As the word spreads we hope for more attendees, along with their partners/family. We are here to help with moral and emotional support to help you through your diagnosis.
